30 Rock, arguably the strongest comedy on TV right now, is being moved from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Thursday nights, according to Variety. It will be taking the place of Scrubs for the rest of the strike-shortened season. This is a huge vote of confidence for the sophomore comedy, having The Office as a lead-in will no doubt help the ratings, which have yet to match the critical acclaim that the show has received. The move is also an attempt to weaken Scrubs, which will be moving to ABC next year for its final season.
